Adventures of Bacon ‘Cabag’ Brown

I made a game in ‘Microsoft MakeCode Arcade’, and this game is a game where you play as a cat names Bacon Brown, whose nickname is ‘Cabag’.

When you enter the game, you are greeted with two buttons, with the words ‘Story’ and ‘Endless’ respectively.

You can control the magenta cat with the arrow keys and choose a mode. Endless mode does not have a conclusion and just keeps going until time runs out, and you can try to get a high score. Story, on the other hand, has visuals with text along in Spanish, so have fun understanding what the story is.

I’m not going to explain the story because I want you to play the game and figure it out for yourself, but I will say this: It’s comprised of three main parts, and while the second one is impossible to lose in and purposefully confusing without any instruction, the third is actually rather difficult.

The inspiration from this game is from my Spanish class where we made up an imagery ‘class pet’, which is a magenta cat named Bacon Brown, whose nickname is Cabag, and this game is an adventure el gato went on for paitura primas.

  1. I thought it was veryyy good. I loved the art and the story. However, if someone doesn’t know Spanish well (like myself) its hard to understand whats happening. I understand it was for Spanish class so this comment is probably dumb but it was so good

  2. Incredible job! I absolutely loved the story and the graphics were a wonderful touch! Mad props for changing gears in the final stretch of this project, and still building out an incredibly detailed game. The story/endless option was a stroke of genius. The game is challenging, fun, and has great repeatability. And your code is exemplary.

I guess my biggest critique is “I don’t know how to add links”. Why haven’t you asked??? Ask me during a work period in class, flex, or via email and I’d be happy to help!

    Wonderful job 🙂
